Now imagine if another football club in a previous life whose name, coincidentally, also contains the words Football, Club, United, Manchester would have raised the season ticket prices by 50% overnight.
Nearly as bad as the old phrase "debt is the road to ruin".
FCUM, doing things differently? ? ? ? ?

Raising the player sponsorship price to £300. 'Matchday Dining', essentially separating supporters, in a bar that we helped pay to build. Golf days to please some board members Keeping admission price at £12 thereby being one of the most expensive clubs in the league.
Hardly doing things differently anymore
I'll ask again, where's all the supporters branches??

End of season fundraising dinners aimed at corporate "clients" with table in excess of £1000 pricing out the average (and above average) fan? ?
Non terrestrial TV being shown in ground? ?
FC United doing things differently? ?
Wouldnt it be slightly less hypocritical to simply allow sponsorship of the shirt and the ground to the highest bidder and pay off some of the huge debts that are owed to the ratepayers and the poor buggers who put their life savings into the Community shares? ? ? Everything else is totally against the founding principals of the club so why not? ?

Betting companies advertising in the ground, £40 for a replica shirt...I mean the list is endless now. Yes 'we have to pay off the debts' but going about it like every other club does and hyper inflating prices and bringing in corporate monies???

It's £7 per game. Who signed up to the debt? You really are a pillock.

Hardly rip off of the year. fc-utd.co.uk/story.php?story_id=6899Haven't we always had golf days? fc-utd.co.uk/story.php?story_id=2164

You've always got a signed shirt. As per one of my other posts on here I once sponsored a player for 60 quid and got a signed picture and shirt. In that link you've posted you got a hell of a lot more for your money than you currently get. For 105 quid less. If you look down the list here in this link you used to have options to sponsor the shirts and other parts of the players kit. Nowadays you don't according to the brochure www.fc-utd.co.uk/story.php?story_id=6268'Structured to suit a variety of needs and budgets...'

But have you looked at what used to be offered compared with what is offered now?? I quote again from 2015/16
'Structured to suit a variety of needs and budgets...' (which, ironically, is the line still used in the brochure but there's no budget options. For anything by the look of it)
And for £195 you used to get tickets to the end of season do plus a marketing opportunity with your sponsored player. Again, you don't get that now. For £55 more.

You used to get an invite to purchase tickets to the end of season do. They weren't complimentary. There's little difference between the package now and the package in 2015 (other than 55 quid but when you're left with a mountain of debt, what choice do you have?) Player Sponsorship * Name/and or company logo in each programme and on our website * An invitation to our annual awards presentation (tickets payable) * A signed shirt of your choice * A commemorative photo * One marketing opportunity (agreed with the club) Price: £195 per player (excl VAT)

The 2016/17 brochure says nothing about the tickets being 'invitational', they're included in the price. Nothing is mentioned at all about a marketing opportunity in the latest brochure (I have screenshots of both but can't share them) As I've said, seems like you get less for more money. Where are the budget options then (kit, shirt, shorts, socks sponsors)? Surely a fair bit was raised on them over the years?? I remember seeing loads of sponsors of parts of the kit in the programme

Hindsight is indeed a rather remarkable attribute innit.
